So far, efforts to find her have turned white.
Police said today that despite an investigation into three possible new sightings in Merseyside, she has still not been found.
And Merseyside Police today urged the public to help locate Sophie, saying they were increasingly concerned about her fate.
A spokesperson said: “Please share and help us as we continue to search for missing teenager Sophie Francis.
“Sophie, 16, was last seen in the Halewood area around 11:30 am on Sunday July 4th, and we are increasingly concerned about her fate.
“Since the initial call, Sophie may have been in the Huyton, Netherley and Tuebrook areas.”
Sophie is described as 5ft 5in, of medium build, with shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes and a Liverpool accent. The last time she saw her, she was wearing a red coat, a black hoodie, gray leggings and black sneakers.
Police said Sophie also had ties to Kirkby, Huyton, Kensington and Garston as well as Cumbria.
