The Northwest Business Leadership Team
The North West Business Leadership Team (NWBLT) has appointed Joëlle Warren, Founder and Executive Director of Warren Partners, as the new Vice President.
She said, “I look forward to working with Jonathan, Emma and the rest of the Board of Directors as we seek to lead, inspire and harness the power of business to help ensure lasting prosperity for our region.
“With an economy of £ 180 billion, the North West is an important region for UK PLC and the NWBLT plays a unique role there in promoting change in areas such as decarbonization, diversity of leadership, practices responsible business, innovation and finance.

Digital ID, headquartered in Stockport and part of the global Barcodes Group, has appointed Peter Walsh to lead mobile and enterprise solutions.
Mr. Walsh, former Global Sales Director at HID, was most recently Vice President of Global Sales for OpSec Security.
In his new role, he will manage all aspects of the mobile solution for the business, including developing a team to meet anticipated demand.
He will also work to advance and improve the ongoing relationship between Digital ID and the HID PACS (Physical Access Control) team in the UK.

Manchester-based law firm Glaisyers ETL has announced two appointments.
Nicola Clarke has been recruited as a senior partner and Gemma Wilson has joined as an assistant lawyer.
Ms. Clarke was hired at Thorneycroft Solicitors in Macclesfield, where she was Associate Director and Head of Employment and Human Resources.
Ms. Wilson joined Stephensons Solicitors. She qualified for Stephensons employment service in 2020, after joining the firm as a graduate paralegal in 2015.
Savills has appointed Matthew Gibbs as director of its Nordic planning team.
Mr Gibbs, founding partner and former director of the board of directors of DP9 Ltd, will work alongside the planning teams based in Manchester and Leeds, with a focus on the North West and Yorkshire.
He has 28 years of planning consulting experience, working on a wide range of projects for a diverse clientele, from individuals to large organizations, including Shell, Capco, Asda, ITV and a large number of fund management groups. .
Warrington-based recruiting firm Talos360 has appointed Lyndsay Chapman to head the staff.
Previously at TVS Supply Chain Solutions, she brings more than 10 years of experience in HR and HR strategy, including experience in major brands and in agencies.
The hiring marks the culmination of a year of growth for Talos360 which added 30 new employees in 2021, bringing its workforce to 101 across the UK, with 43 more slated for 2022.

Blackpool and Preston-based nutrition brand YourZooki has bolstered its management team with a series of new hires and promotions.
Tyron King joins the company as CFO, after spending three years with EY.
Robert Dingle has been hired as the COO of BAE Systems. while Sam Holmes joins as a data manager, after working for Amazon and the Javelin Group retail strategy consultants.
YourZooki also made two key promotions within the company, Miles Mollinga taking on the role of Head of Customer Loyalty and Johnny Taylor promoted to Head of Customer Acquisition.
Pop culture brand Fanattik, a licensing partner for Hasbro, Universal Studios, Capcom and Studio Canal, has appointed Melissa Tudor as Creative Director.
General Manager Anthony Marks said: “I am delighted to announce the new role of Melissa, she has been with Fanattik for over three years, helping to shape our creative team which in turn has made Fanattik a fan favorite brand. in the world of pop culture. . “

Liverpool Law Society
The Liverpool Law Society has appointed Steven Zdolyny as its new president.
He was vice president of the company for two years and previously served as honorary co-secretary for three years, having been a director since 2014.
Mr. Zdolyny has been a qualified lawyer in the Northwest since 1996 and is currently General Counsel for Kim Technologies.
He is supported by the new vice-president, Jo Francis of BLM.
Pixel Kicks, the Manchester-based digital agency, has appointed Helen Goodyear as their new director of digital marketing.
In her new role, she will primarily focus on designing strategically creative SEO campaigns and engaging content for Pixel Kicks customer list. She will also work on some PPC projects.
Before joining the agency, she worked at FNTC Training & Consultancy, iCandy Design and Rayburn Trading. She also worked freelance.
North Campaign Partnerships
Countryside Partnerships North has appointed Joe Turner Managing Director for the Manchester and Cheshire East region.
Prior to joining the region as Interim Managing Director in August 2021, he served as Director of Development for the West Midlands region.
His 15-year career in the real estate industry began with Taylor Wimpey, where he worked for nine years as an engineer.
Subsequently, he was employed by RPS Group and Persimmon, where he most recently served as technical manager.
Alcedo care group
Alcedo Care Group, headquartered in Southport, has appointed a social media marketing manager.
Beckie Kinsella from Liverpool has worked in digital communications and digital marketing for over 10 years.
She is responsible for managing the PPC and search campaigns, ensuring that they achieve optimal results.
She is also responsible for producing content for social media platforms, including copywriting, design and video, working closely with the extended Alcedo team in each office to raise awareness and generate leads.
Envair Technology, headquartered in Lancashire, a specialist manufacturer of clean air and containment solutions for the healthcare, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, has announced the appointment of Andrew Ellison as as new general manager.
Mr. Ellison has worked for the company for the past four years as Chief Financial Officer.
He will also oversee the group’s continued expansion abroad, as demand continues to rise for its containment solutions.
Professional Liverpool has welcomed three leaders from the city region‘s business community to its 13-person board of directors.
Laura Stuffins, partner at accounting and business consulting firm BDO, and Kim Cooper, senior planner at Arup, have taken over.
They were joined by Stephen Cowperthwaite, Managing Director of Avison Young and Chairman of the Liverpool Place Partnership.

Manchester-based social media, marketing and licensing firm KOMI Group has announced that Sam Lenehan has been appointed Chief Growth and Strategy Officer.
Mr. Lenehan has been a non-executive director of KOMI since 2020 and joins the company full time from Urban Splash.
He was the director of House by Urban Splash, a partnership between Manchester-based regeneration companies Urban Splash, the UK government (via Homes England) and Japan-based Sekisui House.
His new role will see him leading a number of key areas, including refining the company’s growth strategy, governance and structure, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
