Birkenhead Company Celebrates Growth Ahead of 15th Anniversary
Birkenhead-based outsourced customer contact provider is celebrating its 15th anniversary by celebrating its £ 40million turnover.
Launched in 2006, The Contact Company started with 15 people around a small table, today the company spans two operational sites.
In 2015, The Contact Company CEO Asif Hamid MBE pledged to double the company’s revenue from £ 20million to £ 40million within five years, continuing to create jobs and support the local economy.
Hamid said: “The past 12 months have been incredibly difficult for everyone in the business community.
“But as a great team, we really rose to the challenge of continuing to provide fantastic service and attracting more customers to the region, investing in internal security and social distancing processes.
“In addition to working from a home-based infrastructure, to bring top-notch names to the Liverpool City region.”
The Contact Company currently has more than 25 clients, operating across multiple industries, from financial services to telecommunications and retail, and currently employs more than 2,000 people.
Over the past five years, the company has gained additional data security and compliance accreditations and invested in its ability to work from home throughout the pandemic.
